It's a guided visit to some of Paris's most exceptional fragrance boutiques, with me as your nose. We shop, we smell, we explore — and woven through all of it is real education about what you're encountering. You'll smell with intention, hear the stories behind the brands, and by the time you find something you love, you'll actually understand why you love it.
Not at all. Most of my guests arrive thinking they "just like things that smell good." That's exactly the right starting point. I'll meet you where you are.
At its heart, it's a search. We're looking for the fragrance that actually speaks to you — the one that feels like it was made for your skin, your story, your life. If you find it and want to take it home, that's just the natural ending to a good story.
A moderate amount, but nothing strenuous. Both tours are designed to be leisurely, and the furthest any two stops are from each other is about 10 minutes on foot. Custom tours vary a bit depending on the route we design together. Comfortable shoes are always a good idea.
My tours are designed to be small — intentionally so. The boutiques we visit are intimate spaces, and keeping the group small means the experience stays personal and hands-on rather than a guided lecture. If you'd like to join with a group of 4, just send me an email first. Smell is an intimate sense, and for slightly larger groups I like to make sure there's some connection between guests before we head out together.
Yes, through a private custom tour. I can accommodate up to 10 guests, and I try to keep it at or under that number — the boutiques we visit are beautiful but intimate, and I want everyone to actually be inside them, not waiting on the sidewalk. Send me an email and we'll figure out what works.
Currently in English, with French tours in the works — hopefully launching next year. Stay tuned.
It varies quite a bit depending on the brands we visit and your personal taste, but on average most guests spend somewhere between €165 and €300 per bottle. If you're working with a strict budget, just mention it when you reach out — we'll see what we can do.
Yes — some brands offer a tax refund for non-EU visitors and will need your physical passport on the spot to process the paperwork for the airport. Worth having it with you.
Layers are your best friend. You'll want your arms accessible so we can try fragrances on skin — that's where the magic really happens
The tour itself and my fragrance education and commentary throughout. Boutique visits are curated by me and built into the experience. Airbnb and Paris Muse bookings don't include coffees — please refer to those platforms directly for full details on what's included and their cancellation policies. If you book directly with me, coffees are included, and if we design a longer custom tour together, we can build in a wine break and more.
Le Marais is where my nose grew up. I lived in this neighborhood during COVID and spent years wandering its boutiques, building relationships with the people behind the counters, and training my sense of smell street by street. It's my flagship tour for a reason.
